I thought I would share something a little different with you all today, so here is a film review. Whilst spending a few nights with a friend I have made on my journey through Europe, we watched this awesome movie, The Inbetweeners. I have to say that sometimes I feel like an inbetweener at times!
This film was hyped up to be one of the funniest films of 2011. It is about four unlikely friends that found friendship at school, it first started out as a television program called The Inbetweeners, about four kids that are inbetween the cool kids and the geeks in the school hierarchy. This show became an instant hit.
London is an ancient European city and has scores of attractions, both historical and contemporary. It is a city that is fascinating to those who live there as much as for the tourists who come on visits. If you are a traveller and would like to understand some of the charms this city holds or you reside in this city and would simply like to read another pleasing perspective about it, then this is for you.
If you are like me who just loves motorbikes, you should also be concerned about the protection you should use while you ride your powerful machine. Regardless of whether you’re embarking on a long trip (like I have planned for myself) or you are just roaming around, it is a must to take your safety seriously. After all, an adventure without precautions and estimated risk is often considered as foolishness.
Here are few protection gears you should use while riding More
When I read about the man who motorcycled naked on the Isle of Man’s TT course on the BBC website, I nearly fell off my own bike laughing. Trust me when I say, motorcycling naked is never a good idea and for a guy, it can be extremely hazardous! That said I have to admire the man’s gall to actually go and do something like that. I’m considering doing it myself to beat the heat as I move through Spain.
I love my trip around Europe but wearing full biking leathers in heat that gets close to 40 degrees Celsius is not the most comforting thing in the world. Stripping down to nothing has been highly tempting and reading that article about the naked motorcyclist has made me stop to think several times the past few days. Maybe if I just went down to my boxer shorts? Anyway at least my internet connection has remained stable since I switched providers. If it weren’t for me checking worldwide roaming fees compared to just browsing on YouTube which I usually do when bored, then I wouldn’t be sitting here writing this post.
I recently drove through Barcelona on my way down the Costa Brava in the east of Spain. The city was beautiful, although it still has one of the worst reputations in Europe for petty crime - particularly pick pocketing. I suppose I shouldn’t complain. Pick-pocketing is better then mugging as at least there is no intention of physically harming the victim. Still, I’ve been keeping a close eye on my valuables and as I’m wearing leathers most of the day, I do make for quite an imposing sight. Hopefully it’s off-putting to anyone thinking of making a grab for my wallet. I digress.
The city of Barcelona has to be one of the most beautiful I have seen. The buildings all illustrate the passion of Catalonia and before long I got caught up just puttering along marvelling at the architecture. Eventually I caught sight of several street performers and I think one of them conned me out of 20 Euros when I paid to see him perform a magic trick. Maybe that’s the Barcelona way of mugging people? If it is, then I don’t really mind too much.
There was so much to see and do in the city that I ended up spending four days just roaming the streets. Walking is the best way to see the city and if you want to visit the Old Town and the Gothic quarter then you have to ditch your vehicle. I wound up at the Camp Nou at the end of my second day home to the legendary F.C. Barcelona! I didn’t run into Messi, Xavi or Iniesta, but the stadium was amazing!
Sadly I had to leave Barcelona a few days ago and push forward on my journey. Until next time faithful followers!
Most people when they want to go on a motorbike trip make all their travel arrangements beforehand. While they have spent some time in planning their trip, they usually forget about the finer details of packing for a motorbike trip.
Therefore, the first and foremost thing that you should do while planning for a motorbike trip, would be to get a clear picture and plan of “what, and how, you are packing for the motorbike adventure”. This could be done More
Most of my relatives were the opinion that my trip around Europe on a motorbike would fizzle out in a few days. After all, any person who is used to the comforts and luxuries of ordinary life will find it very difficult to manage the sudden change without any reason.
To be honest, there were times when I preferred the old live where stansted transfers and other transportation services made life very simple. There were numerous facilities that I could More
You will find quite a few dissimilarities involving motorbike and car shipping. The car has a tried and tested braking system along with four wheels that give it extra stability, a motorbike is designed differently as it has only two wheels and only the stand to keep it stationery. Many people think that transporting a motorbike from one place to another would be a rather cheap delivery compared to shipping a car because of More
Being able to phone and email whilst biking around Europe is an essential for me. Having not very much money at the moment it’s also essential that I have the best global internet roaming service for the cheapest price. It’s all very well biking about the place meeting new people and jumping off cliffs (that’s another story entirely), but if I can’t share these experiences with the people I love (not to mention with all you lot following my blog!) A big capacity, sensibly priced, road going sporty V-twin machine is how the Suzuki SV1000 could be summed up as. The engine even though has been picked up from the old TL1000S model by the same company, yet is a good fit given the reasonable price that the bike comes for. The big V-Twin produced more than 120 bhp of power when it was first installed on the TLS1000S. With handling issues cropping up, the engine was lowered for power More
Though quite similar to the previous model, the latest version from BMW of its bike named the K1300R is an indeed fresh and new look item, given the small changes that the company has affected on the outgoing model. The claimed power of this bike is 173 bhp which is quite a lot and that too with the optional electronically adjustable suspension, traction control and a long list of options to choose from makes this one a desiring item. The More
