Broadbanding in Europe!

Broadbanding in Europe!

Being able to phone and email whilst biking around Europe is an essential for me. Having not very much money at the moment it’s also essential that I have the best global internet roaming service for the cheapest price. It’s all very well biking about the place meeting new people and jumping off cliffs (that’s another story entirely), but if I can’t share these experiences with the people I love (not to mention with all you lot following my blog!) then I might as well pack up and go home.

So how on earth have I stayed ‘online'during my travels? Well for a start I bought myself a pretty nifty smart phone which even an idiot like me can use. The second thing I armed myself with was a small compact laptop with a hard as nails case, so that even if I sat on it or dropped it down a hole (again that’s another story), it wouldn’t break. Fortunately whilst flicking through an article The Times produced a few years back, I saved myself some time and money and bought a MacBook. If anyone laughs at my choice I don’t care. It hasn’t broken yet and has taken a heck of a lot of punishment. How to get the cheapest broadband price though?

I’ve changed providers a lot recently and since the roaming charges have all gone up I’ve been trying to be even more cautious with any contract I enter into. So if you’re thinking of following my example make sure you do some research first before you choose a broadband provider. I’ve found a good deal at ‘abroadband.com’. They’ve given me a flat rate so I can warble away to my heart’s content across Europe. So for now I’ll stick with them…or until I run out of money!
